It is my honor to serve as Principal of PS 298 Dr. Betty Shabazz School. At PS 298, we believe that every child deserves to be known, valued, challenged, and provided with the tools necessary to reach their fullest potential.

Our vision is to develop thinkers, doers, and risk-takers who are strong readers, writers, communicators, problem-solvers, and leaders. Through high-quality instruction, strong systems of support, meaningful relationships, and partnerships with our families, we are building a school community where all students can thrive.

We believe in high expectations and high levels of support. We believe that literacy opens doors. We believe that attendance matters because every day of learning matters. And we believe our families are essential partners in our students' success.
